Description

We are looking for a qualified Director of Development to directly support the mission of Statesmen College Preparatory Academy for Boys. The person best suited for this role is an outstanding communicator with exceptional interpersonal skills. You will be an organized self-starter with a heart for people and an eye for detail. The best candidates will have an advanced degree, significant experience with school or system level operations as well as knowledge of the technology , data systems and software used to engage this work.


Responsibilities

  • Identify, pursue and procure federal, state, local, public and private grants wherever Statesmen is matched to the priorities and criteria established by each source - competitive, formula and continuation grants 
  • Oversee, monitor, evaluate and report out on each grant against its established milestones
  • Coordinate all school efforts to establish a strong brand with marketing and messaging to educate and inspire the public about the work of Statesmen
  • Coordinate community events, activities and media engagements that create opportunities to share the work and outcomes of the organization
  • Liaise with Senior Leadership to develop an organization-wide strategic plan to support the vision and mission as established within the school charter
  • Serve on the Senior Leadership Team and support all schoolwide efforts to implement the school plan as established in the approved charter
